(My little guy is 3 years old today! I design trusses for a living. A Triangle is the strongest shape. When a load is applied, each member is subjected to tension and compression forces. Much like we are in life…everyday we’re under tension and compression. But, like a keystone, a triangle performs well under pressure. Much like we as men need to do. Everything today was based on the number 3, triangles, and tension or compression…and dirt. We got dirty, because Little Bunyan loves to get dirty!)

3 Points, set up in large triangle on the baseball field

Point 1: Right Field Foul Post

Point 2: Left Field Foul Post

-High/Low Planks (x9 IC) (Start in high plank)

-Monkey Humpers (x9 IC)

-Carolina Dry Docks (x9 IC)

Point 3: Home Plate

-WWII (x27 SC)

-Merkins (x27 SC)

-SSH (x27 SC)

-Run to Point 1

-Repeat triangle circuit of exercises until time’s up, Sharknado style. We did the first round all together, then took off OYO.

We all got in 4 rounds which totaled just under 2 miles of running, 24 total WWIII’s & Blockees, 48 total Block Curls, 72 total High/Low Planks, Monkey Humpers, & Carolina Dry Docks, 108 total WWII, Merkins, & SSH. Total of 636 Reps…and the total number of triangles in that picture!

(Just kidding, I have no idea how many triangles were there. I just design them, I don’t count them! That picture was actually of trusses that I designed a few years ago for a church in Milton, PA. The church burned down, but the stone walls remained, and they wanted to rebuild the roof to keep the look of the old church)

-Prayers for Double Mint and his M. Prayers for my M, and prayers for Alice as he navigates work, traveling for work, and internal questions about his work, whether it’s fulfilling/worth it. With that, want to add that prayer for all of us as men, as we work, and provide for our family. May we have integrity in our work, and a strong work ethic. We can find purpose, meaning, and fulfillment in our work, and sometimes our work is where we can shine the light of Christ, and use our position to expand His kingdom. We work not just for man, but for Christ. A triangle is the strongest shape, and no coincidence that it has 3 sides. God is 3 in 1. The bible tells us that 3 is better than 1 or 2. Also, F3! Be strong, be like a triangle, support those that depend on you, be immovable under pressure.

That being said, I better get back to my job of designing more triangles!
