We defined a couple words and my challenge is know the difference and think how they apply to you.

Endurance:

the fact or power of enduring an unpleasant or difficult process or situation without giving way.

Persistence:

firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.

Patience:

the capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset.

AS MEN…..don't mistake patience as being Aloof.

Aloof:

removed or distant either physically or emotionally

Proverbs 14:29
"A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly"

James 5:7-8
"Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord's coming is near"

Romans 5:3-5 ESV

“Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance(patience), and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”
