The Thang
We mosied over to the track then mosied one lap while the QiC was still racking his brain trying to come up with the plan. We got around to the beginning when, behold, inspiration struck in the form of brightly painted numbers staring up from the track.
PAX lined up in lanes 3 through 8. For each round each PAX did the number of reps per their lane, then rotated to the next highest lane until each PAX had completed 33 reps and was back in their starting lane. PAX shared lanes when rep counts overlapped.
Round 1 – merkins x33
Round 2 – WW2s x33
Round 3 – Monkey Humpers x33 but movement between lanes was in Monkey Humper position
Round 4 – Pickle Pointers x33 but movement between lanes was a crab walk
Round 5 – do one bear crawl out to the fence and back
Round 6 – Alternate with odd lanes starting on LBCs and even lanes doing merkins – roll to next lane into alternate exercise position (mosey from 8 to 3…). Remind Cropfit several times that he is in an ODD lane after he lined up in merkins position. Console Cropfit afterwards by reminding him that even though 4 is less than 5, he is no less than any other human being. Feel the love and move on to the next round.
Round 7 – Alternate with odd lanes doing flutterkicks in cadence and even lanes doing mountain climbers in cadence. Roll to next lane into alternate exercise position.
Round 8 – No Surrenders x33ic
Round 9 – Lunge walk, each leg counting as one rep, out to match number in your lane, then back before changing lanes.
Round 10 – Sprint out to line and back (about 15 yards out?), doing number of sprints to match your lane before changing lanes. A lot of careful lane sharing on this one to avoid collisions.
At 45 minutes the QiCs alarm sounded to the tune of the Imperial March to signal time. Do Imperial Walkers halfway back to the parking lot, then mosey the rest of the way.
