Warm Up:
After some spirited ice hockey/soccer on the parking lot, we circled up and got into a low plank. We held a plank while we listened to Caterpillar’s mumble chatter…
We then moved to the baseball outfield, where it was a little safer to stand…on icy grass, rather than icy pavement.
Since Caterpillar took his good old time getting to the circle, and wasn’t listening, we did 5 penalty burpees!
Since I’ve watched A Christmas Story one too many times the last few days…
Randy’s (x10 IC) “I can’t put my arms down”
Arm Circles/Circle Arms w/ tongue stuck to flag pole (x10 IC Each)
The Thang:
Mosey down around bathrooms, around basketball court, around tennis court, then ice skate across the tennis courts. Lined up along the side of Rt. 30 and commenced with Hairy Rockettes! (We didn’t get any honks from passing cars though). Ice skate across basketball court, and mosey back to blocks in outfield.
Murder Bunny (x20)
Bear Crawl Block Drag back to start
Did some more penalty burpees I think…probably something Caterpillar or Drawstring did or said…
Rifle Carry toward pavilion
Stop, and do 50 (sc) SSH
Rifle Carry rest of way to pavilion
5 more penalty burpees I think…again Caterpillar!
Block Curls (x15 IC)
WWIII (x15 six count cadence)
At this point, Caterpillar and Drawstring were goofing off and stuck on the number 6. Caterpillar kept yelling 6 and was sounding like a dying animal. Trojan was also complaining that the Q called him the 6 when he asked where’s the 6 during the cadence calling during the WWIII’s. He said his mama says he’s number 1! Well Trojan, when I’m the Q, I’m your mama!
5 more penalty burpees for insubordination and complaining.
WWII (x20 IC)
Goblet Squat (x20 IC)
Partner Up:
Hail Mary (x15) (It’s on the Exicon….one PAX does low plank, other PAX does Dips on bench, with their heels on the back of planking PAX). 15 Dips, and switch.
Flutter Kicks with block overhead. (x20 IC)
Caterpillar continues to yell 6. Then we got a visit from a concerned neighbor lady who thought there was an animal being tortured or dying. We assured her we were ok, and she walked back to her house with what we assume was a bag of dog poop, that she was ready to throw at Cat.
More penalty burpees were commenced because Cat is going to get us kicked out of the Den for sure!
Monkey Humpers (x15 IC)
Mosey to road and back.
Since I’ve watched Home Alone way more than is normal…
Kevin WWII…yell “Kevin!” on my up. (x20 SC)
And since Christmas Vacation is my favorite Christmas movie, and I’ve watched it more times than I can count…and since Red Card doesn’t like the movie…
Circle of Flying Squirrels!
(Run in place, go around circle, and each PAX yells “Squirrel!”, and everyone does a Flying Squirrel.)
Block Curls (x27 IC)
LBC (x15 IC)
Rifle Carry back to flag…
Mary
Ice Skating Plank Jacks (x27 IC)
COT
Sign up/register for the Polar Plunge!
Prayers for my M and her recovery from the flu.
Thank you for braving the ice, and coming out for a WO and some fun! Just like the days after Christmas…I didn’t have a single plan for this morning and made it up as we went. Hope everyone can continue their Christmas celebrations and relaxation through the weekend. Thanks for the laughs this morning, men! Love you guys! And thanks for picking up the tab for coffee at Rutters, Eagle! Thanks for the fellowship at Rutters! (We thought we’d have to get into a rumble with some guys from Men’s Alliance who walked into Rutters!) Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, PAX!
