
10 PAX came out in the gloom to give up discretion (the cage with velvet bars…) and allow the QiC to chart the course through some morning free time.
Unspoken themes of this morning’s workout, pulled from the current Q Source assignment were:
“A man needs help to get right.”
“Going it alone, the Mascot is doomed to fail.”
“To get right, the Mascot has to commit to actual movement not just it’s appearance.”
And “Discretion is a cage with velvet bars.”
We started out our commitment to actual movement with a warmup:

Then we mosied around the track in the opposite direction before heading over to the bleachers for a further exercise in trading our discretion for the routine decided by the QiC.
The Thang
11s but with a twist
Round 1 – start with 1 dip, run up bleacher stairs; at top spread out in the top row and do at least 10 squats or keeping doing squats until all PAX reach 10; run down do 2 dips, run up, do at least 9 squats…continue with 11s always continuing reps until the six is in at the top.
Round 2 – starting at the top of the bleachers do 1 monkey humper, run down; at bottom do at least 10 derkins or continue until all PAX reach 10; run up, spread out and do 2 monkey humpers, run down do at least 9 derkins…continue with 11s always continuing reps until the six is in at the bottom.
(Hmm, not intentional but waiting until the six is in at the top vs at the bottom has some depth to it…)
Round 3 – we just did one set, due to time. On grass next to bleachers 1 American Hammer, bear crawl from tree 1 to tree 3; 10 flutterkicks (10 each leg), crawl bear back.
Mosey around the track for one more lap, picking up the six.
Mosey back to parking lot.
