BACKBLAST:

Nine PAX said "no" to the fart sack and showed up on a dreary, rainy morning. They worked the lower and core by doing the Chad 1000x as a two man team alternating step-ups w/ other lower/core excercises. We didn't make it to 1000, but we ended on 720 for each team which is amazing! You could definitely feel the burn with all those step-ups.

 

WARMUP:

20x IC SSH

10x Michael Phelps

10x (ish) Tie Fighters

10x Monkey humpers

 

THE THANG:

Mosey to the shed taking the scenic route to grab a cinder block (CB)

Took the CBs to the small pavilion (because we didn't want to get wet hahaha)

Paired up to form two-man teams

Instructions: PAX-1 was the clock by doing 40x step-ups while PAX-2 did the alternative exercise. Once PAX-1 completed their step-ups, they swapped roles.

We completed 9 rounds with the following alt-exercises:

– single leg deadlift w/ CB (alternate leg as needed)

– good mornings w/ CB

– calf raises w/ CB

– deadlift w/ CB

– weighted situps w/ CB on chest

– hip abductions w/ CB

– pickle pointers (glute bridge) w/ CB on hips

– firehydrant

– monkey humpers

 

Returned the CBs and did a session on stretching under the large pavilion.

 

The PAX lifted up thoughts and prayers for friends and family struggling with cancer, mental hardships, addiction issues, and upcoming Bible quizzing. May we continue to look upward and forward in the coming week.
