BACKBLAST:

10 PAX made it out in the gloom to beat the Monday blues.

Modifying as necessary became an unintended theme from the start.

The QiC rolled up late so we started with a warmup of 10 penalty burpees OYO.

We headed to the pavilion to set up for the beatdown but the QiC was forced to run the beat down from memory as he had misplaced the Ziploc bag with the 3×5 cards.

We got set with 5 stations with two PAX at each station. A 2 minute EMOM timer was set and all 5 pairs rotated through all 5 stations for each round. For stations 1 and 4 PAX would swap exercises after 1 minute.

Round 1

Station 1 – 1 PAX did curls with 20 lb dumbbells, with the 2nd PAX doing SSHs

Station 2 – Both PAX doing LBCs on a mat

Station 3 – Both PAX did dips at a picnic table

Station 4 – One PAX did thrusters with coupon, 2nd PAX doing squats

Station 5 – Both PAX did merkins

Round 2

Station 1 – 1 PAX did bench press with 20 lb dumbbells, with the 2nd PAX doing the motivator

Station 2 – Both PAX doing WW2s on a mat

Station 3 – Both PAX did step ups at a picnic table

Station 4 – One PAX did kettlebell swings with coupon, 2nd PAX doing monkey humpers

Station 5 – Both PAX did pickle pointers

Round 3

Station 1 – Each PAX did a kneeling single arm dumbbell row with a 20 lb dumbbell, switching arms after one minute

Station 2 – Both PAX doing flutterkicks on a mat

Station 3 – Both PAX did derkins at a picnic table with option to alternate between derkins and irkins

Station 4 – One PAX did bench press with coupon, 2nd PAX doing lunges

Station 5 – Both PAX did burpees
