4 PAX made it out in the gloom on a morning chilly enough for some frost on the bleachers.

 

This Q was pulled from the previous lawn dice beatdown except we didn’t use dice and just did all the excercises designated for each location.

 

Warmup

21s – once and done

The Thang

Moseyed to the first location which was the bleachers. We modified based on some light frost on the benches.

Bleacher merkins up – this was surprisingly dicey, given we had no dice, so some PAX modified to avoid face planting. PAX were cautioned to not put their tongue on the cold metal. A mosey down was called for but we modified to “toddler going down the stairs backwards” mode down the steps.

Dips x 20

Step Ups were next in the card but no dice, due to the ice.

Stair “sprint”, gingerly, up and down

Derkins x 20 but using the lowest footrest as benches were too slick

Card said bear crawl up bleachers with crawl bear down but…no dice due to the ice. So we did a bear crawl up the steps and crawl bear down which again felt strangely like a kid trying to learn to use the stairs.

 

To remind ourselves that we were in fact grown men, we did a real bear crawl over to the west end of the track.

Mosey back to bleachers

Stair “sprint” with care up and down

Derkins x20

Take steps down to paved area then bear crawl along front of bleachers and up the ramp

 

Head to track for a one lap mosey then circle/ 4 square up for some stretches with a count off to 20 for each stretch.

Touch toes

Downward dog

Right foot up to right hand

Left foot up to right hand

Cobra stretch

Back to downward dog then back to touching toes then roll up and reach over head.

Some comments were made about Barn Door’s challenges with counting.

Mosey back to parking lot for count off. The QiC noted we had given Barn Door enough practice with counting so gave him a chance to redeem himself as he led the count off with…”17″. Do 5 penalty burpees then do the count off – Barn Door redeemed himself and Big Blue flirted with some additional penalty burpees but ultimately we finished the count correctly and avoided them. Counting to 4 is hard! 😆

No specific prayer requests but general praise for the opportunity F3 provides for brotherhood and that we are nudged to reach out to our brothers and check in.
