It’s Veterans Day this week so we did some evolutions to celebrate the device and sacrifice and service of those who have given us the freedom we enjoy!
WARMORAMA
10x arm circles / circle arms
10x windmills
10x imperial storm troopers
10x air squats
Mosey to the shed to grab some blocks
THE THANG:
It’s been 250 years since the start of the US armed forces. So this evolution had 250 reps to give tribute to the service and sacrifice since 1775.
PAX formed teams 2-3. All reps were per PAX and reps were completed before moving to the next exercise.
50 block lunges (the hard way)
250m run
50 pushups
250m run
50 block squats
250m run
50 WWII
250m run
50 burpees
250m run
Mosey to the soccer field.
Veterans Day was created to commemorate the signing of armistice that signaled the end of WWI that was to take place the 11th hour of the 11th day in the 11th day (11/11/1918). So it was only appropriate to do 11’s.
11’s – start with 10x crunches, run ~25m, do 1x No Surrenders. Continue the routine of 9+2, 8+3 etc.
With the 11’s complete we remembered the year:
19x 8 count man makers
18x calf raises
Mosey back to flag
The final evolution was a 21 rep salute to each branch of the military
21 mountain climbers – cause the Army likes to climb mountains
21 seal claps – cause the Navy has SEALs
21 flutter kicks – cause the Marines like to swim
21 tie fighters- cause the Air Force likes their planes
21 American hammer – cause the Coast Guard likes to row some boats
21 jump squats – cause Space Force is about leaving the earth

Honorable mention to Caterpillar who ran to the AO to join for the first 20 min before running back to his scout camp site in Mount Joy. So he gets a 0.5 for attendance.
