A cold morning breeze, sore thighs, spirits high. The Maintenance Crew rolled out with the simple goals: move well, look moderately athletic, and avoid pulling anything that requires explaining to a doctor.
WARM-UP
We kicked it off nice and easy:
- Slowsie (because we are not in a hurry… ever)
- Stretching (lots of noises, none encouraging)
- Squats (checking to see what still works)
Consensus: bodies operational… mostly.
THE THANG (30s ON / 30s OFF x 5 ROUNDS)
A carefully designed rotation of almost discomfort:
- Wall Sits
- Incline Merkin Holds
- Jog in Place
- Arm Holds
MAINTENANCE CIRCUIT
15-minute walk with an EMOM of Squatting.
Midway through, the Maintenance Crew delivered the obligatory Monkey Humper salute to the nearby Rapho PAX…and like true professionals, they returned fire! A beautiful moment of cross-AO respect.
Neighbors helping neighbors… one gesture at a time.
MARY
We wrapped it up with:
- Side Planks
- Calf Raises
- Side Leg Raises
COT / COFFEETERIA / QSOURCE
Linked up with the Rapho PAX for COT, followed by Coffeeteria and QSource.
Strong reminder that while the workout gets us there, the community keeps us coming back.
Maintenance Crew: Maintaining fitness is less about speed and more about consistency, control, and knowing when not to sprint. Also, never pass up a chance for a well-timed Monkey Humper. Pretty sure it’s in the bylaws… right after “modify as needed” and “don’t sue us.”
