2 PAX showed up to ruck, and they did 4 miles.
14 PAX hopefully learned something regarding income taxes. First thing we did was mosey to the large pavilion. Then explain…If you happen to file your taxes late, penalties are as follows:
Failure to file. 5% of what you owe per month capped at 25%.
Failure to pay. .5% of amount owed capped at 25%.
Interest penalty. Rates are determined quarterly, but are currently 8% charged daily.
Moral of story… File and pay your taxes on time! 😁.
First question that most know. Name of the tax form filed for income taxes with the IRS. 1040.
10 slow merkins in cadence.
40 squats single count.
Reduce by one and four, so round two was 9/36, 8/32, etc.
Second question. What are the tax rates for long term capital gains? There are three, but we only used two. 0, 15, 20 depending on income.
15 lunges per leg.
20 Flutter kicks in cadence.
Reduce each exercise by one, 14 lunges 19 FK. I knew time was an issue so we stopped at 10 and 15.
Next question. How much in social security and Medicare taxes does a W-2 employee pay? 6.2% for SS, 1.45% for Medicare. 7.65% total, and the employer matches dollar for dollar. Total paid = 15.3%.
3 laps around both pavilions Indian runs followed by 15 slow dips. Then 1 and 5.
Last question. Lowest and highest income tax brackets. 10 and 37 percent. Rounded up to 40.
10 burpees. 40 SSH.
8 burpees. 36 SSH.
Mosy back to flag.
COT. Announcements- convergence end of July, Destination Park kickoff is 4/29, Eagle posted F3 merchandise for sale.
Prayer requests-Bunyan and Eagles M's, Popos ankle (he took a spill running to fast around the pavilion), Care Bears' daughter college visitation season, and Double Down as Boomerang is taking his car to prom tonight.
Thank you for listening to me ramble, and shout out to square for fixing the coffee. Drawstring and I had no idea how much water versus ground coffee to use. You all would still be flying if Square hadn't fixed the coffee! 😂😂😂.
Double Down out!
