3 PAX made it out in the breezy chilly gloom to explore around Fort Long Rifle and try to stay out of the wind! Especially, avoid being downwind of fellow PAX… ⛽ ☁️ 🤢

Warm-o-rama

We started out with a mosey around the campus including a loop around the water tower and behind the elementary school. As we rounded the corner into the field behind the school and baseball field we were met with an icy blast from the wind.

The Thang

We settled in on the parking lot adjacent to the football stadium after our mosey.

First we did an injured bear crawl, left paws up on the curb around the oval at the one end of the parking lot. Then we reversed and did right paws up.

Next we did high knees across the parking lot to the other side.

At the first parking lot line we did an excercises than a mini mode of transportation (MOT) to the next line and continued to increase the count by 5 until we were at 50 reps.

LBCs x5

MOT – roll forward out of LBC position into merkins position

Merkins x10

MOT – High knees

Flutterkicks x15

MOT – Lunge walk

Side Straddle Hops x20

MOT – Toy Soldiers

WW2s x25

MOT – Broad jump

Monkey Humpers x30

MOT – Roll

Pickle Pointers x35

MOT – Crab walk

Mountain Climbers x40

MOT – Burpee broad jump

Squats x45

MOT – Wosey

Side leg raises x50 (25 each side)

Mosey to bleachers. OYO do 50 total dips, 10 at a time followed by a sprint up and down after each set of 10. Finish with a sprint up and down the bleachers then mosey back to the parking lot by the stadium.

Carioca one way halfway then switch direction. Once across the parking lot start with 50 reps at each line followed by MOT to the next line, reducing reps by 5 at each line. Reverse the original starting with 50 side leg raises and ending with 5 LBCs. Survive deadly clouds of post turkey day gas and actually wish we weren’t sheltered from the wind during those moments…

Mosey in the opposite direction back around the elementary school, around the water tower, and again feel the blast of icy wind on the way back to the parking lot. About 1.6 miles covered.
