COT

We had 12 PAX for the 12 Days of Christmas!

-Prayers for Talc’s son, Seth as he is at Air Force boot camp in Texas right now.

-Injured PAX, lifted up Butter Knife & Rapunzel

-Keep Cholula in your prayers, as he and his family go through this time of grieving over his mother passing away last night.

-No Doubt asked for prayers for his son, ATV who needs to be reminded to own up when he does something wrong, and quit defending the wrong actions and making excuses.

I believe this is a very important reminder and lesson for all of us!  It’s very hard to admit when we’ve messed up or done something wrong.  It’s easy to make excuses.  It’s easy to get defensive. Or in another regard, it’s easy to get angry at our kids when they do something wrong. But there’s real strength and high impact when we can be men of repentance, men of humility, and men of grace & forgiveness.

2 Corinthians 7:10 says: “For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation. There’s no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results in spiritual death.”

It was an honor to Q and lead you guys this morning.  You all crushed it!  Thanks for the gift of your presence this morning for the 12 days of Christmas! (And thanks to High-and-Tight for helping me remember the order of the exercises!)
