“Back to school. Back to school, to prove to Dad that I'm not a fool. I got my lunch packed up, my boots tied tight, I hope I don't get in a fight. Ohhhh, back to school. Back to school. Back to school. Well, here goes nothing.” …catch the bus…”Everybody on? Good, great, grand, wonderful, NO YELLING ON THE BUS!!”

The Thang (Time for School)

“I kinda feel like an idiot sometimes. Although I am an idiot, so it kinda works out.”

From F3 Nation Exicon: Billy Madison

Inspired by Billy Madison's journey back through school, this routine involves a running loop and exercise per grade. Begin with a loop (ideally single-file line leader style) to simulate the grade, followed by an exercise with 12 reps as the exam. This concludes 1st grade. Run the loop again, followed by the 1st grade exercise x12 reps plus a new exercise x12 reps. This concludes 2nd grade. Continue with the loop and adding an exercise each time until you've completed one loop and exercise combo for each of the 12 grades.

Run 1 lap around pavilion after each grade level. Everyone had a turn at being line leader. The exercises I chose for each grade:

-1st Grade: Flutter Kicks (x12 IC)

-2nd Grade: Dips (x12 SC)

-3rd Grade: Squat (x12 SC)

-4th Grade: Merkins (x12 SC)

-5th Grade: WWII (x12 SC)

-6th Grade: Imperial Squat Walkers (x12 IC)

-7th Grade: SSH (x12 SC)

-8th Grade: LBC (x12 IC)

-9th Grade: Monkey Humpers (x12 SC)

-10th Grade: V-Ups (x12 SC)

-11th Grade: Burpees (x12 SC OYO)

-12th Grade: Pull Ups (x12 SC OYO)

COT (Graduation)

“Mr. Madison, what you have just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.”

It was a fun & tough WO in the gloom! Great hearing all the quotes from the movie flying around during the beat down.
