The thang – part 1: the distance from Athens to Sparta is ~150 miles…the first marathon was ~25 miles.

Part 3: after defeating 1/2 of the Persian army the Greeks sent word that they won but that the other half of the Persian army was headed toward Athens. Pheidippides ran the 25 miles from Marathon to Athens to announce victory and give the warning.

Gave praises for the healing that is taking place with family members and pax and for the support and strength this group provides for those going through difficult times.
