This workout was to prove that while the CSAUP last weekend was completely stupid, it was not utterly pointless. I was reminded that doing a workout as a team helped to reduce the misery, and increase the fun.
Warm up:
We initially warmed up with the main group, but because coffee needed to be made, so after we slowsied to the lower pavilion, we warmed up again.
Arm Circles – 20 IC
Circle Arms – 20 IC
Motivator – 5 to 1
Al Gore – 30 seconds
Imperial Squat Walker – 6 count exercise for total of 10.
The Thang:
The main idea was to do a DORA style workout (the maintenance crew way of slow and smooth) but the difference was we combined as a team to complete each exercise then take a walk around the soccer field, baseball field, etc.
Total number of exercises divided by the number of PAX.
There was a total of 6 PAX.
Merkins: 60/6 = 10 total per PAX
Backwards Lunges (hard way): 120/6 = 20 total per PAX
Dips: 150/6 = 25 total per PAX
LBC’s IC: 210/6 = 35 total per PAX
Mary:
Bird Dog – 10
Dead Bug – 10 IC
Pickle Pointers – 10
Sleddie Mercury (Slow Freddie Mercury) – 20 IC
High Plank – 1 minute
COT:
Was done with the main group.
Name-o-rama – we welcomed Number’s son “Night Light” to F3! Good to see them out this morning.
Followed by a great discussion during coffeeteria.
Thank you for following my lead.
