We warmed up with the Rapho PAX, but collectively decided to leave immediately once Caterpillar signaled the start of the Motivator.  The Maintenance Crew believes in low-impact fitness, controlled movements, and avoiding unnecessary trauma before 0800, so we made our tactical retreat, headed out, and did our Maintenance Crew warm-up, the Slowsie to the other pavilion.

The Thang – Mug of Fun

Today’s workout was powered entirely by Eagle’s Coffeeteria Mug of Fun.  Each PAX took turns drawing an exercise from the mug and then leading the group through it.

  9. Wall Sit – 30 sec
  10. Bonnie Blairs x10 IC
  11. Wide Merkins x10 SC
  12. Carolina Dry Docks x10 SC
  13. Dips x10 SC
  14. Shoulder Taps x20
  15. Plank Jacks x10 IC
  16. Burpees x10 SC
  17. SSH x20
  18. Mountain Climbers x20
  19. High Knees x20
  20. Incline Merkins x10 SC
  21. Squats x10 SC
  22. Bird Dogs – 15 sec each arm/leg x2
  23. Dead Bugs x10 SC
  24. Hillbillies x10 IC

Walking Progression

  • Minute 1: Walk + 1 Squat
  • Minute 2: Walk + 2 Squats
  • Minute 3: Walk + 3 Squats

Continue adding one squat every minute until the 15-minute mark.

Oneshot completely ignored the intended workout and beast-moded the progression by doing burpees instead of squats because normal suffering was insufficient 🙂
