6 exercises, 1 Mode of Transportation and a crap ton of Thruster.

The Gist: complete 20 reps of an exercise, Rifle Cary ~20 yards, do 10 Thrusters and Rifle Carry Back. Move to next exercise. Complete all 6 exercises, take a lap around the upper pavilion and start again.

– 4ct Flutter Kicks

– Bear Squats

– Sphinx Merkins

moleskin: I often feel that workouts suck while I’m doing them. Almost as soon as it ends, what I thought really sucked suddenly doesn’t seem so bad. A lot of the “suck” was in my head in the form of negative thoughts; “when will it be over”, “I can’t do this”, “I’m tired/sore”, “what was this guy thinking”, “I hate running”, and my favorite “this looked better on paper”. After the workout, when I stop feeding those negative thoughts I feel energized, I smile a little more as I laugh with the guys. A day or two later the soreness kicks in and that’s proof of me getting stronger. Since joining F3 I’ve gotten better at applying this to life. Things may suck while I’m in it but if I reduce the negative self talk and surround myself with high impact men I will persevere and come out better, stronger and more resilient. #EmbraceTheSuck and #IronSharpensIron

 

p.s. when I got the double bird from OneShot today, I instantly knew it was the Q I wanted.
